Jaselyn and Mason go on their first date -- a blind date set up by Kathy Scholl. Kathy, one of the owner's of 5 Broads Off Broadway, is not only a client of Jaselyn's company, Blanchard Creative Group, but also built her Mom and Dad's home on Rosewood with her husband Mike Scholl back in 1984. Kathy also happens to be best friends with Mason's parents, Peggy and Paul Pace. She sets up Jaselyn and Mason on a blind date (which neither of them really wanted to go on!). Mason insists on a lunch date (thinking he could cut it short if he didn't like her) but it ended up lasting most of the afternoon. The rest is history!
